Psychiatrists in Blue: Things That Work

October 17-18, 2004 Hamilton, Ontario

Hosted by the Hamilton Police Service

and the

Crisis Outreach and Support Team (COAST)

The 2004 CNCPMHL Conference in Hamilton saw almost 200 interested police officers and mental health workers come together to exchange ideas and information about police/mental health liaison activities. High points in the conference included all the speakers, but particularly the stimulating presentation by members of the Memphis CIT Team. New developments included the presentation of the first Award for Excellence, presented to COAST and the Hamilton Police Service; and the creation of a second listserv specifically for members who want to exchange information about data collection and outcome measurements.
